Working with the Shell on Linux

“ A Few Shell Topics... ”

Sooner or later, if you are a Linux enthusiast, you are going to have to "deal with" the shell! But, the shell can be fun! It can be rendered in a wide range of "expression" from very simple, single line script commands to intricate, and sometimes very convoluted, lines of fancy programming code!

The one thing the shell certainly is, is flexible! This accounts for its longevity and many "re-incarnations," which have which turned up in unexpected places, an ancient ancestor of Perl? So have fun with it, and be amazed at how much it really can do!
