Google can be a great help in finding topics,
documents, or article contents on this site, working almost as a combination
database lookup and site map generator!
It performs nearly the same search that it does from its homepage, except it
restricts its breadth of search to just this URL location. The resulting
listings show the relative "popularity" of local articles and will
indicate a ranking of these articles for any given topic or set of
search keys...
Google may behave differently on a local search than on a wider net
search. For example, it may treat the keys for digipeater, digipeaters,
and digipeating as being "and'ed" locally; whereas, it may treat them
as being "or'ed" for the web search from Google's homepage. (There
does seem to be a difference in the outcomes...)
And, of course, for the "last word" in how to search, the Google home
page has hints and tips about how to use their search engine... No one
should know better than they! From "About Google," follow the help links
at the top of the "About" page...
