The Ax25d.conf File
What it does...
This file associates a port name with
an application or process. When
a user connects to the station on an ax25 port, that user is directed
to a program such as PMS, or the Node. Each unique callsign-SSID may
point to the same application or, more probably, to a different
application. By using the keyword 'via,' each port may have many
callsigns branching to their associated applications. (See diagram
below.)
General form:

As you can see in the table/file below, I have
left all my previous "mistakes" in place so that you can note how many
attempts I made to set these ports up. This is not all bad since it is
easy to activate any one of them again by simply removing the comment
marks, the #'s.

A Few Caveats:

- Be sure your local mailer is properly "hooked" into your browser.
- Allow up to 24 hours for delivery, although 3-6 is typical...
- Mailed copy, being the latest "on-line" version, may differ slightly from above.
- Click on "Mail it to me" below to activate your mailer, then send from there.
- Please don't change the subject field. (Additional text body comments OK.)
- Sometimes server is down for extended periods of time... (1-10+ days)
- (You obtain, modify and run all data/code at your own risk.)

What if ...

- If your
browser-linked mailer doesn't seem to respond, you may send a
null-bodied email to ka1fsb@att.net with a subject of
"Data Request - ax25d.conf" not including the quotes...
(Some browsers and their mail agents do not like excessive string data
in the mailto format.)
